1% Sales Tax in Texas County Fails

Voters in Texas County rejected the Texas County Proposition that would have enacted a 1% sales tax which would have gone for capitol outlay, maintenance, and or operations of Memorial Hospital of Texas County. A total of 1,125 voters casts their votes with 379 yes votes and 746 no votes. Percentages were 33.69% in favor, 66.31% against.
